Hey what's up I'm Ryan Hamill and I am the owner and founder of Follow Me Fitness. Just 3 years ago I was overweight and out of shape and uncomfortable in my own skin. Since then I have been through the frustrations and trial and error of figuring out how to lose fat and gain muscle. From doing hours and hours of cardio every week to 'killer ab workouts' every day. I did the low-carb diet trend and tried all of the fat burning supplements that I could get my hands on. I definitely lost "weight" doing tons of cardio everyday, however some of that weight was muscle. While it felt good to not be as heavy anymore, I still wouldn't take off my shirt in public. Even though I was skinnier, I still had excess body fat. I was "skinnyfat." I thought that it was just how my body was. It turns out I was wrong! By following a proper diet and focusing on resistance training, I was finally able to get the body that I always wanted! I learned how to train smarter rather than harder.
